TWO NEW YORK CITY DESIGN FIRMS ENLISTED TO CREATE BDNY 2011 NETWORKING AREAS
WHITE PLAINS, NY, August 31, 2011… New York City-based design firms Krause + Sawyer and bluarch have been enlisted to design a café and networking lounge respectively, at the 2nd annual Boutique Design New York (BDNY), taking place November 13-14 at Javits Center North in New York City. These featured spaces will serve as networking destinations for some 5,000 market attendees.

BDNY will run Sunday, November 13, and Monday, November 14, 2011, featuring manufacturers of high-end, unique and innovative design products for hospitality, including furniture, lighting, wall coverings, fabric, seating, accessories, artwork, carpet and flooring, materials, bath and spa. The fair will draw some 5,000 interior designers, architects and purchasing executives, along with crossover participation from hospitality property owners and operators in attendance at the adjacent International Hotel, Motel + Restaurant Show® (IHMRS).
The 96th annual IHMRS will run Saturday, November 12, through Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Following a full day of conference and networking activities on Saturday, November 12, the IHMRS will feature three full days of exhibits from Sunday, November 13, through Tuesday, November 15. The market presents some 700 hospitality industry suppliers and attracts 30,000 in total trade attendance.
